Yesterday I left San Salvador, El Salvador and decided to go to Leon, Nicaragua. At one point I thought that I would never make it as it took me about 13 hours to arrive in Leon and usually the buses stop quite early. But thanks God I have been able to make it, despite of the time spent at the borders and waiting for a bus to get full....
Leon is a really nice city with a colonial style and obviously plenty of churches. Apparently it has been the old capital of Nicaragua but it is now Managua which is located one hour from Leon.
I have not visited the whole city yet, so here are the first pictures of Leon and you will have the pictures left on another day :)
