Since yesterday I am at the Lago Atitlán, which is in the highlands in Guatemala. The lake must actually be a crater that has been filled by water, it's surrounded by volcanoes and mountains.
On the shore of the lake there are plenty of small villages where people are still following their tradition and often on the street I don't hear Spanish but a Mayan language.
The lake is really beautiful and today I've walked from a small village to another and it was really nice.
